supurrkitten's car to work and on the way home picked up a new battery for my car. It took only about half an hour to get the old dead battery out and get the new one in place. I felt so old school guy, like our fathers. I even asked the GC to get me a cold old, a coke, but it felt cold. At least you didn't wrench the post off...
... that's bad. I used to have a post cleaner, so I would never do that again. Looking strait down into a hole that's not supposed to be there in your battery is not a good thing.Of course, having to empty water out of your headlights aint't great either. But that's a different story.
Glad the car is off and running again.
